Relationship Management (RM)

  • Practice the 3 R's
  • (Retreat, Reflect, & Respond)

  • Do what you say and say what you'll do
  • If you can not keep a commitment --> Communicate!!

  • If you need to say NO -- offer alternatives (i.e. - longer lead times)

Determine what gaps in the process your clients should fill and what functions you & your team are willing to take on as a value-add.
